Barcelona
have clinched top spot in Group E of the Champions League after
producing a typically fantastic display to thrash Roma 6-1 at the Nou
Camp.
Lionel
Messi was back in the Barcelona starting line-up and helped himself to a
brace as the hosts, fresh from their 4-0 weekend win at Real Madrid,
produced a string of superb passing moves.
Luis
Suarez also scored twice and Neymar, the third member of the famous
attacking trio, was also in wonderful form despite missing a late
penalty.
The
Roma defence have been leaking goals in the Champions League and the
Italian side have now conceded 16 in five matches after this demolition,
but they still have a chance of qualifying.
